1. Company Information
These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Tropical Tour Tour Guide and Car Rental (Mauritius) LTD, operating under the trade name Tropical Tour.
By confirming a reservation or using any of our services, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Bookings and Confirmations
All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing by Tropical Tour. A booking is considered confirmed only once the client receives official confirmation via email, messaging platform, or other written communication. Clients are responsible for ensuring that all personal, travel, and booking details provided are accurate and complete.
3. Payments
Payment terms, including deposits and balance amounts, will be communicated at the time of booking. Certain services may require advance or full payment to secure reservations. Prices quoted include only the services specified in the booking confirmation. Any additional services requested may incur supplementary charges.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email or official messaging channels.

Cancellations made one (1) week or more before the scheduled service:
Eligible for a 100% refund, subject to any third-party conditions.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service:
Eligible for a 50% refund only.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service or no-shows: No refund will be issued.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Amendments and Changes
Requests to modify confirmed bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability. Changes to dates, times, or services may result in price adjustments. Tropical Tour is not responsible for disruptions caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
6. Transfer of Bookings
Bookings are generally non-transferable. Any request to transfer a booking to another individual must be submitted in writing and approved by Tropical Tour. Approval is subject to service conditions, timing, and valid identification. Additional fees may apply.
7. Car Rental Conditions
Clients renting vehicles must hold a valid driving licence; international licences may be required for foreign drivers. Vehicles must be used responsibly and returned in the agreed condition and timeframe. Clients are liable for traffic violations, damages not covered by insurance, and misuse of the vehicle. Insurance coverage details will be explained at the time of vehicle handover.
8. Tours, Excursions and Activities
Participation in tours and activities is voluntary and undertaken at the client’s own risk. Some activities may be subject to age, health, or safety restrictions. Clients must follow instructions provided by guides, drivers, or activity operators. Tropical Tour reserves the right to refuse participation where safety may be compromised.
9. Delays, Weather and Force Majeure
In the event of bad weather, unsafe sea conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, Tropical Tour reserves the right to cancel or modify services for safety reasons.

No additional compensation shall be payable for cancellations caused by weather or force majeure events.
10. Liability
While Tropical Tour takes all reasonable steps to ensure safe and high-quality services, it shall not be held responsible for loss, injury, damage, or inconvenience caused by third parties or unforeseen events. Clients are strongly advised to hold valid travel and medical insurance.
11. Client Responsibilities
Clients must arrive on time at agreed meeting or pickup points. Respect for local laws, customs, the environment, and fellow travellers is expected at all times. Any behaviour deemed unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
12. Data Protection
All personal data collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for European Union clients. Information is used strictly for booking management and service delivery.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes arising shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
14. Amendments to Terms
Tropical Tour reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website and become effective immediately.
